Control Type: Micro 9

NOTE: In the event of an error the control will generate an error message at the end of the cycle. The

control generates 11 error codes, divided into Group 1 and Group 2.

Error Code Probable Cause Possible Corrective Actions

E4 (water level) Water level was not reached after

five minutes.

• Check inlet water filters

• Check water pressure

• Inspect water valves

E5 (heating) Required water temperature was

not reached after 80 minutes.

• Inspect heating elements

• Inspect heating contactor

• Verify water valve is shutting

off

E6 (door lock) Door lock released during the wash

cycle.

• Check door lock circuit

• Inspect door lock mechanism

E8 (temperature sensor) Defective sensor or temperature

sensor curcuit. The sensor measures

a temp below 5

or higher than

• Replace temperature sensor

• Repair wiring circuit

E9 (motor protection) The thermo-magnetic protection

was activated five times or high

motor current was detected.

• Check the following:

a. load size

b. amount of detergent being

used

c. drive motor brushes motor

d. motor connections

e. contactors

f. input voltage

g. motor and machine

bearings

h. excessive high foam during

extraction

EA (tilt) Tilt switch was activated 15 times

during final spin.

• Check for an unbalanced load

• Inspect position of tilt switch

not 3 (MOT 3 operating hours) The machine has operated for 5,000

hours.

• Replace the motor brush
